Course overview

MSF30413 Certificate III in Glass and Glazing (Glass Processing Specialist) delivered in partnership with Improve Group Learning Solutions is targeted at glass processing companies. Our program provides your team with the skills and knowledge to work safely, effectively and competently in the glass industry.

Delivered in the workplace and via online learning options, we maximise the time an apprentice spends on the job, learning skills he or she needs for the job. Developed in Australia, these new methods are changing the way training is delivered in the glass industry.

Course structure

Our training programs cover core glazing industry skills in the following areas:

  • Construction safety, job estimating and costing, communication, teamwork, first aid and environmental responsibility

  • Handling Storage, measuring and cutting glass in a range of glazing  applications,  including  assessing  glass  and  glazing requirements to AS1288

  • Glazing  Specific  skills - hand  tools,  power  tools,  basic machinery, residential, commercial and architectural glazing.

Course modules

This qualification requires a total of 24 units of competency to be completed.
